The Programme

IOSH Managing Safely in the World of Work is a 90 GLH programme. The learning materials are designed to support a blended learning approach (some face to face, group work and some distance learning). The materials come complete with assessments, and end project. A comprehensive tutor pack is also included.

Why choose this programme?

Employees who have managerial responsibilities need to understand safety management systems and how they are used to control hazards and reduce risks. This course aims to make the student aware of safety management systems. What is unique about the Benningholme approach is that it is designed to be delivered by distance / blended learning with college tutors going to the student’s place of work. This is a method much appreciated by employers as an efficient way of training staff. These materials have been approved by IOSH and written by an expert in writing distance learning materials. The finished product is user friendly, informative and easily read. Some colleges may wish to use these materials with their existing Managing Safely course to offer a more flexible approach.
