The Programme

NVQ Level 2 Cleaning and Support is a listed programme. The learning materials cover the underpinning knowledge and are designed to support a blended learning approach (some face to face, group work and some distance learning).  There is also a need to observe and assess candidates in the workplace. The materials come complete with assessments and a comprehensive tutor pack.

Course Content

Mandatory Units:

Ensure your actions reduce risks to health & safety
Promote and maintain service delivery

Optional Units:

Support the work of a team
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers
Control the use of resources
Clean toilets and washrooms manually
Clean and protect floors
Clean carpets and soft furnishing
Clean surfaces up to a maximum height of 4 metres

Highways and Land

Clean streets using a pedestrian controlled machine

Remove graffiti and fly-posting using pressure washing equipment
